Carnival in the Caribbean: Pleasure, Healing and Liberation



The West Indies, and the Caribbean as a whole, are well-known for Carnival, a beautiful and cultural celebration. However, beyond the surface, there is so much there: cultural pride and affirmation, healing, community-building, solidarity, and so on.
